Week 1 Task

Your task this week, due March 16th, is to create a short summary of one type of AR technology that could be used in an educational setting.

1. Explore the examples of AR use presented on the AR Technologies, History of AR, and e-Learning Application pages.
2. Select one specific example of AR technology that you feel could be useful in education. For example, you might explore the Wikitude app. You can feel free to read about technologies that you don't actually own, or have the equipment to operate.
3. Summarize the features of the AR technology. Explain what platform or devices are required to operate it (i.e. iPhone), how it is operated, and what exactly it does. Please choose from one of the following formats for your summary.
   • A brief PowerPoint presentation - maximum 3 slides, excluding references
   • A written response - maximum 200 words.
   • An audio or clip - maximum 1 minute
   • A flowchart or thought web

Please be sure that any photos or graphics are non-copyrighted and cited appropriately.
